At Top Notch Dental Assist LLC, we specialize in certified dental assistants in Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Application. Our streamlined course offerings are designed to be easily navigated and provide comprehensive training, ensuring you gain the skills necessary for professional certification. 

These courses are taught by a Licensed Dental Hygienist from Indiana, with clinical instruction conducted under the Direct Supervision of a Licensed Dentist during designated clinical sessions. For clinical sessions without an on-site supervising dentist, each dental assistant will receive an affidavit to complete and return to Top Notch Dental Assist LLC before their wall-mounted Certificate is issued. Note: Before the clinical portion, each dental assistant will complete written exams on coronal polishing and fluoride applications, covering all modules.

THE PROGRAM REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 4 PARTICIPANTS TO HOLD CLINICAL EACH MONTH.

Each partipant will be notified in advance if clinical will change due to insufficient participants.

Our Courses

Coronal Polishing/Fluoride Application (Indiana) - $700.00

Requirements: Indiana has a state-level age reqirement of 18 to work as a dental assistant. Dental assistants with a minimum of one (1) year of employment in a dental practice or those who have graduated from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association are eligible. Completed requirements allow assistants to polish the coronal surface of teeth under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
Assistants must commit to acting as patients for coronal polishing, adhere to OSHA guidelines for infection control, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment.
This course aligns with the guidelines of the Indiana Dental Practice Act, and all educational and clinical requirements comply with the State of Indiana.
Upon completion of the didiatic and laboratory requirements, each participant must demonstrate clinical competency on a minimum of five (5) patients under the direct observation of a licensed dentist or dental hygienist. A form will be provided to each participant on which the observing licensed dentist or dental hygienist will document certification of competency and completion of required clinical cases. The form must be signed by the certifier and submitted to Top Notch Dental Assist. Upon receipt of the signed form, TNDA will issue a certificate of completion that must be publicly displayed in the dental office where the dental assistant practices. Once the certificate of completion is received, participants will be legally able to polish the coronal surfaces of the dentition under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.

Coronal Polishing/Fluoride Application (Out of State) - $875.00

Requirements: Each state has their own requirements that each Dentist, Office Manager and Dental Assistant must follow prior to registering to take Coronal Polishing and Fluoride Applications Certification Courses provided by Top Notch Dental Assist LLC. All this information can be located on the DANB Website.
For the state of Indiana: The dental assistant must be 18 years old.
